I got really impressed by your blog and was wondering where about in Umeå did you go? I am interested in unused spaces within the city and how people intervene with public space. So, I got curious about the industrie area you have had chosen for the snowboarding. I would like to check this area out if you can give me a hint where to look for it. I also was wondering why don’t you do this a bit in a more official way? I think it could be really interesting for the people to come and see it eventually.
Thanks! I’m not an expert at Umeå and it’s surroundings, and I’m not sure which of the spots you’re referring to. The industry area the guys are jumping around in is an asphalt plant around 30 minutes outside Umeå. It’s still active during the summer. I don’t know the name of it though…
I’ve chosen to not work so much on this blog since Im busy building our production company. This blog is mostly about my hobbies, snowboarding and snowboardfilming. Most of my material from last year ended up in ”Random Bastards – Tentacle”, glad it came to some use! But thanks for the support! =)
